Srinagar News: Strict action against those who sell rotten meat in the city, 6 Fir has submitted; Flying group form

Srinagar police, along with the Department of Civil Administration and Food Safety, later began a major action against the sale of rotten and unhealthy meat in the city. So far, six FIRs have been registered against individuals and businesses that violate public health and safety laws. In cases fir number 45/2025 Section 271, 275 BNS – PS Red Market; FIR -NUMBER 90/2025 Section 272, 275 BNS – PS Bove, Fir No. 67/2025 Section 271, 275 BNS, 51 Food Safety Act – Ps Batmalu; Fir Number 102/2025 Section 271, 280 BNS – PS Safakdal; Fir No. 73/2025 Section 271, 275 BNS Police Station Ram Munshi Bagh and Fir No. 48/2025 Section 61, 271, Police Station Zakura under 275 BNS. To further strengthen the law and order, a flying group of officials from the district police, civil administration and food safety department were established. These teams make surprise inspections in Srinagar, during which a large amount of rotten meat was destroyed by the health protocol by seizing. Srinagar police said this campaign is part of his commitment to the safety of public health. A police spokesman said: ‘Strict legal action will be undertaken against those who violate the violations under the applicable provisions of the Act. “He requested the public to be vigilant and informed of such disturbance at a close police station or helpline numbers.
