The 76th annual Theater World Awards, presented by theater journalist Peter FilichiaJune 6 at 7pm will be presented in Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theater.

Michael Oberholtzerwhich is currently appearing in the Broadway revival of Take Me Outsidewill be honored with the 13th annual Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theater, and the four-time Tony winner Harvey Fierstein Will receive the 9th annual John Willis Award for lifelong achievement in the theater.
The evening also contains the presentation of the excellent ensemble award to the 21 cast that their Broadway debut in the current revival of The musician starring Tony winners Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster. Roll division that is honored includes Nick alvino, Jordan BeallRonnie S. The Board of Directors of The Theater World Awards, Inc., which produces the ceremony, is led by Dale Badway (President) with Tom Lynch (Vice President), Michael Cost (Vice President), Stephen Wilde (Secretary), Honorable Ilene Zatkin-Butler (Treasurer), James Sheridan, and Karen Johnston.
The awards, founded by John Willis, were first presented in 1945, and are the oldest given for outstanding Broadway and off-Broadway debut performances. The ceremony is a private event that is only invitation, followed by a party in celebration of the new honors.
