County-by-County: Storm Damage Closes Roads Across Alabama

Madison County near Huntsville. And this morning we are getting reports of damage and trees down in East Alabama. WVTM 13 Bryce Oselen is live in piedmont this morning. Bryce, what can you tell us that you are seeing there? Looks like there’s something very large blocking the roads back there. Yeah. Good morning. Right now we’re on 500 South Main Street in Piedmont. You can see police are cleaning the aftermath of victorious weather. They’ve been here for hours now. We’ve blessed and heard chainsaws. We see multiple construction trucks. You see this white one in front of us. And then on the opposite side of all of those trees, there’s a yellow one. Police have this entire road blocked off as well. They have one in the middle of the street, and then one on each side of the street. We’ve also had people drive up and get close to the scene, assking us, when will this, when will they have this cleaned up? And they haven’t told us at this time. And then you hear that chainsaw. That’s what people are waking up to right now in this community. At this time, we haven’t had the opportunity to speak to police again as far as when this will get cleaned up. Live in Piedmont, Bryce Olson,
