Strengthening Synergy, Banten Regional Police Chief visits Kopassus-Lanal Headquarters in Serang

Banten – Banten Regional Police Chief Inspector General Hengki visited two TNI units in the Banten area, namely the Serang Kopassus Group-1 Command Headquarters and the Lanal Banten Command Headquarters (Mako) in Cilegon. Hengki touched on Banten as a strategic area to be jointly protected. The visit was held on Wednesday (15/10/2025) and is part of efforts to strengthen coordination in maintaining safety, stability, security and social order and territorial sovereignty of Banten province. At Group-1 Kopassus, Hengki was welcomed by the Commander of Group-1 Kopassus Brigadier General TNI Raden Nashrul Fathurrohman, accompanied by the Deputy Commander of Group-1 Colonel Inf Amril Hairuman Tehupelasury. Meanwhile, Inspector General Hengki was received at Lanal Banten by Danlanal Banten Marine Colonel (P) Catur Yogiantoro along with the ranks of Lanal Banten officers. PAGE TO CONTINUE CONTENT Inspector General Hengki emphasized the importance of maintaining solidity and synergy between the TNI and Polri to meet the challenges of their duties in the field. Hengki expressed his desire to strengthen coordination between institutions. “This gathering is not just a formal visit, but a concrete manifestation of our commitment to continue to strengthen the synergy between the TNI and Polri. We want to strengthen coordination and cooperation in order to create a safe and conducive security and social security situation in the Banten region,” Inspector General Hengki said in his statement. Inspector General Hengki expressed his appreciation for the support and cooperation established with TNI ranks. Hengki then highlighted the strategic position of the Banten region which requires special attention from all security elements. “The Banten region has many strategic geographical features, as it is on the main route of international trade and ports. Therefore, strong cooperation between the TNI and Polri is necessary to maintain land and sea security so that people feel safe and economic activities continue to run smoothly,” said Hengki. “Thank God, overall the security and social security situation in the jurisdiction of the Banten Regional Police is safe and conducive.
