NEIDA, OCTOBER 4 (IANS). The Noida Authority has strengthened the anti-plastic campaign with the aim of performing better in the Swachh Survexhan-2025 and to clean the city clean and more beautiful. The authorities have made it clear that 100 % compliance with the complete ban on single use plastic is complied with and that ongoing campaigns will be carried out for this. In fact, from July 1, 2022, the central government completely prohibited the use of single use of single use across the country. Authority has continuously conducted awareness campaign to implement this order and make Noida a plastic -free city. Among these campaigns, shop owners and ordinary citizens are motivated to use cloth bags. At the same time, financial fine is also imposed on those who violate the rules. In the same order, Saturday, the government has launched a special anti-plastic driving force at Evergreen Market, to Dairy and Amatash Market in Sector-34. The campaign was led by Indu Prakash Singh (Public Health) and Gaurav Bansal, Project Engineer (Public Health). During the campaign, the government team made the shop owners aware and called on using plastic with single use. About 50 kg of single use plastic was used during the operation. In addition, shop owners who were found plastic were warned that their financial punishment would be imposed if they were caught again. The officials also made it clear that strict steps would be taken against those who violate the rules. Project Manager Parul Rothan, IEC expert Abhigyanam, Guided Fortune Committee (NGO) members and local police were also present during this campaign. The Noida Authority has called on all the citizens in the market to put on a bag of clothing when leaving for shopping.
