Karan shared a video related to the film on Instagram. He wrote in the caption, “Even after 13 years people are still giving ‘Ishq Wala Love’ to these students. Celebrating completion of 13 years of Student of the Year.” Released in 2012, this film introduced Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra to Bollywood. Directed by Karan Johar and Punit Malhotra, this film not only became a favorite of the youth but also became one of the highest grossing films of the year 2012. The story of the film revolves around the college life, love, friendship and rivalry, which was greatly appreciated by the audience.
