The General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance in Luxor Governorate has announced the success of a two -year -old liver cultivation process, within the services of the new system for comprehensive health insurance, in an achievement that embodies medical support and integrated care provided by the system to citizens.

The child’s father explained that his daughter was suffering from a congenital blockage in the bile ducts, and their journey began with treatment through a number of hospitals and private centers without stability in the health condition, until he went to the Nile Hope Hospital to treat birth defects in Alexandria. Because of the high cost of surgery, the family resorted to the authority’s branch in Luxor.

After presenting the case to the relevant authorities inside the branch and conducting a careful diagnosis, it was submitted to the Supreme Committee for Liver Antilation, where it was decided to perform the operation under the supervision of a group of specialized doctors, and it was successfully, while the girl is currently undergoing accurate medical follow -up within comprehensive health insurance programs.

For her part, Dr. Rehab Abdel Wahab, Director General of Luxor Branch for Comprehensive Health Insurance, confirmed that this success comes within the framework of the efforts made to provide high -quality medical services, noting that the campaign “Your right to choose” has played an important role in enabling the beneficiaries to choose the treatment authorities within the system, which includes a network of contracting health services providers according to the latest medical standards and treatment protocols.

She added that the authority continues to provide advanced and varied services to citizens, in a manner that guarantees justice access to health service, and reduces the financial burden on Egyptian families, especially in precise medical cases.
