Successful climb on Mount Nun: ITBP's All Women's Team Flag Lifting Ceremony

New -Delhi, September 27 (IANS). The flag lifting ceremony was held for the All Women’s Mountaining Team, which successfully climbed on Saturday at the Mount Nun (Ladakh) in the ITBP headquarters. Central Home Secretary Govind Mohan was the main guests during the event. Senior ITBP officials, campaign leaders and homogeneous icebergs were present during the ceremony. ITBP director Rahul Rasgotra proudly expressed this achievement in his speech. He said that 14 women climbers climbed a 7.135 meter High Mount Nun on August 14, 2025, led by the Assistant Commandant Bhanita. This success gives a new height to the wonderful tradition of Mountain Climbing of ITBP and is an important step in empowering women. He said this achievement will become an inspiration to the new generation. The main guest Govind Mohan honored these courageous women with cash prizes. He praised his courage, hard work and passion. Mohan said that ITBP has always been in the mountain climb and that the Interior Ministry is committed to promoting such campaigns. He further said that it shows the strength of women and will help make changes in society. The ceremony ended with a thanks to Govind Mohan.
