He wrote: “How does adolescence come the number 1 show on Netflix India. All conventional wisdom is against it. Indians are not supposed to like sluggish waves. It is in conflict with every rule written by bad Scripture schools. This is instead of rising. This is the best news in years”. In response to the post, social media shared their divided opinion on the topic. While someone commented: “Any screenplay that is honestly looking at today’s problem and hidden anxiety,” said another: “Netflix India is not India.” In the midst of this, a user has also suggested that adolescence has become a hit in India because of the Western influence. The person wrote in the remarks: ‘It became the most spoken performance in the world and had a good reviews of Western critics. We have already convinced it that this is a good performance. It’s actually good, but as you said, we would have found it difficult to put it through if we didn’t have this preconceived notion (sic). ‘ Sudhir Mishra, who opposes the idea, said he did not see the film because of an exciting reviews from the West, but because of the words of Hansal Mehta and Shekhar Kapur. Mishra tweeted: “No, we didn’t do it. I saw it because @mehtahansal and @sheekharkapur were about it. It’s in fact one of those rare shows that was a loved one in the Netflix universe at the same time. Adolescence adolescence is a fourth, limited series. With starring Stephen Graham and newcomer Owen Cooper, the series received praise with the initial release last month at Netflix UK. This has created a stir on the internet as it is investigated the story of 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) for the murder of a girl in her school. Why is adolescence such a hit?
