Summer I became nice fans, note, the story is not over yet. Amazon Prime Video has officially confirmed that the hit Ya drama is concluded with a play film, after the finals of his third and final season. The upcoming film will continue with the journey of Belly, although plot details are being driven under the wheels. The project is set by author Jenny Han, whose best-selling books inspired the series, along with author producer Sarah Kucserka. The announcement was made at the final red carpet event in Paris, reports Variety. “There’s another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought that only a movie could give it the right way. I am so grateful to Prime video that I supported my vision for this story and that it was made possible to share this last chapter with the fans,” says Han. The series was a big global success for Prime video. Season 3 alone drew 25 million viewers within a week after its release. The show is known for its mix of romance, heart strings, friendship and family drama, and has built a strong Fandom worldwide. Courtenay Valenti, head of film, streaming and theater at Amazon MGM Studios, and Worldwide television head Vernon Sanders, praised the impact of the show and called it a global sensation that created ‘Moments of Joy, Nostalgia and Connection’. The series played Lola Tung in the starring role, along with Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman and Rain Spencer. Jenny Han served as fellow showrunner at Sarah Kucserka, both of which will return as executive producers of the film. Fans will have to wait for more details for the time being, but the confirmation of a film ensures that the story of Belly will have a definite end on the big screen.
