New -Delhi, September 27 (IANS). The ruling of the government of Tamil Nadu not to form a new WAQF Board in terms of the current WAQF Act was described by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) as a time -bound, adventure and appropriate step. The board of directors congratulated Chief Minister Mk Stalin and the State Government on this decision. Dr. Aimplb spokeswoman SQR Ilyas issued a press release stating that the ruling not only reflects the constitutional commitment of the state government, but also shows that the government respects the final decision of the judiciary. SM NASAR, Minister of Minorities in the welfare, also said that the Tamil Nadu government (amendment law 2025) opposed and also disputed it in the Supreme Court of India. The State Government will not restructure the WAQF Board in terms of the new law until the Supreme Court makes a final decision in this case. Dr Ilyas praised the decision, saying that it was not only legally appropriate, but also strengthened the secular and democratic structure of the country. He said: “This decision of the Tamil Nadu government is also inspiring to other states. We appeal that other state governments must take a similar stand and protect the original soul of the Constitution.” AIMPLB is of the opinion that the recent amendment of the WAQF Act is against the interests of the Muslim society and in such a situation, the Tamil Nadu government to prevent it from being in accordance with the spirit of the righteous people. The spokesman further stated that it is clear from this decision that the Tamil Nadu government is committed to protecting the right and constitutional values of the minorities. He specially congratulated the chief minister Mk Stalin, saying that this step is a hope of hope for Indian Muslims and every citizen in favor of justice.
