Jakarta – Minister of Home Affairs (Minister of Home Affairs), Muhammad Tito Karnavian signed a joint decision (SKB) with the Minister of Public Works (PU), Dody Hanggodo and the head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana. The SKB deals with determining the list of locations in the construction of nutritional services (SPPG) in the regions. The signing took place on Thursday (18/9) at the BGN office, Jakarta. Tito fully supports the acceleration of the free nutrition program (MBG), including in underprivileged, outer and deepest areas (3T). In his remarks, Tito said, his party encouraged the Regional Government (Pemda), also in the 3T region, to form a task force (task force) to accelerate the implementation of the MBG program. Until now, there have been 141 local governments that form the task force. According to him, the regional government was very enthusiastic to support the acceleration of the implementation of MBG, including the construction of SPPG. This is because the benefits of the program can be felt directly by the community. “Usually the regional head is not profit -oriented, which is the most important target. For them with this program, it of course helps the most important to help their program handle stunting because it is also targeted to reduce stunting,” Tito said. In addition, this program is also considered the regional head, because it will open work for the community. This program can also increase the circulation of money in the community and thus reduce poverty. MBG also supports the survey of the surrounding food production. “Having fish production, vegetable production and others can be absorbed,” he explained. He hoped, with the signing of the SKB, the realization of the president’s target in the MBG program could be accelerated. “Our hope is that the MBG program can spread, completed to reach according to the target of the president,” Tito said. Meanwhile, Dadan emphasized that the importance of accelerating SPG development to expand access to the fulfillment of community nutrition, especially in remote areas. “The formation of this sppg is very important because this sppg is a budget -absorbing machine for the nutritional agency.
