Supreme Court Bar Association Jaipur established Welfare Trust for lawyers, understand in the video what will be the benefit from it.
Rajasthan High Court Bar Association Jaipur has established the High Court Bar Association Welfare Trust keeping in mind the welfare and financial security of the lawyers. The official launching ceremony of this Trust will be held on Saturday during the Dimension program organized by the Bar. Bar Association President Mahendra Shandilya and General Secretary Ramit Pareek said that this is the first such step in the state, in which a special trust has been formed for the welfare and financial security of High Court lawyers. He said that through this trust, liability of the lawyers’ deposits would be ensured and the possibility of any kind of financial irregularities would be minimal. General Secretary Ramit Pareek gave information about the structure and purpose of the Welfare Trust and said that the Trust will provide financial assistance in case of serious illness or emergency conditions. He said that the Trust would provide assistance of up to Rs 2.5 lakh to any lawyer suffering from a serious illness. Along with this, in case of untimely death of a lawyer, financial assistance will be provided to the family based on the ratio of his income and the amount deposited in the trust. Along with the establishment of the Trust, the High Court Bar Association Jaipur will also launch a special Vakalatnama tomorrow, the price of which has been kept at Rs 110. This Vakalatnama will not only symbolize the professional rights of the lawyers but will also provide the necessary financial contribution for the activities of the Trust. Mahendra Shandilya said that with this initiative, the lawyers will also experience responsibility towards their colleagues and the community. Through this trust, lawyers will not only get financial security but it will also help to reduce the uncertainties in their professional life. The purpose of the Trust is to assist lawyers in health, family safety and mitigating circumstances. Members of the Bar Association appreciated this initiative and termed it as a positive step for lawyers. Experts believe such a welfare trust for lawyers is important for the security of their professional and personal lives. This will ensure that lawyers do not face financial crisis due to problems in professional life. The Bar Association also appealed for awareness and cooperation of lawyers and their families in this program. Mahendra Shandilya said that this Trust is not only an economic initiative but it is a historic step towards the safety, unity and welfare of lawyers. Many senior advocates and judicial officers will also be present in the Aayam program organized on Saturday, the launch ceremony of this new trust.
