The Rajasthan High Court gave 23 accused relief, including Ramuram Raika, the then member of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) in the recruitment of the Subinspector (SI) recruiting -2021. At the same time, the court refused to accept the bail of 30 other accused. According to sources, both the children of Ramuram Raika – Beta and daughter – were initially released on bail. Both children were selected in this SI recruitment. The Supreme Court also imposed a condition during bail that it would be mandatory for the accused to work on the investigation and that they would place no pressure until the investigation was completed. According to the information, Babulal Katara, the then member of the commission, provided the examination paper to Ramuram Raika. As a result of this paper leakage, serious irregularities were revealed in the recruitment process, thereby registering a case in various divisions against the accused. This bail decision gave Raika and 22 other accused immediately relief. The Supreme Court said the granting of bail does not mean the accused, but to give them the opportunity to stay in legal supervision while working on the investigation process. Experts believe that this kind of recruitment investigations are a sign of warning for both society and the administration. There is a need to adopt strict safety protocols to ensure transparency and honesty in recruitment processes. Even after receiving bail in this case, the accused activities will be monitored until the investigation is completed. Rajasthan police and sit (special investigative team) are investigating the matter. He said that the process of interrogation of the accused and the gathering of evidence continues. Following the decision of the Supreme Court, the possibility of investigating and pursuing quickly increased. Political and administrative analysts say RPSC SI Recruitment-2011 case raises serious questions about the transparency of recruitment processes in Rajasthan. Such cases affect the trust in recruitment of the government and the confidence of the candidates. Therefore, it is necessary for the commission and the administration that such disorders do not occur in the future. The bail of Ramuram Raika and other accused has now cleared the way to pursue the legal preparations for their part. At the same time, the case remains sensitive to the investigation and the legal process due to a lack of bail from other 30 accused. Thus, the decision to grant bail to Ramuram Raika and other accused by the Rajasthan High Court is an important turn in the SI Sering-201 case. This ruling has given the accused relief, but the investigation and judicial process of the case has yet to be completely abolished. Share this story -tags
