Supreme Court remains on 'Udaipur files', 6 changes to the center's proposals compulsory

The Supreme Court maintained the release of the film ‘Udaipur Files’ surrounded by controversies. During the hearing held on Monday, July 21, the Supreme Court presented his earlier order to remain the film. The court also instructed to implement the six important changes proposed by the central government in the film. This matter has been in the news for some time, as the content of the film has been objected to by different communities and organizations. Thereafter, the court banned the release of the film until July 24. In the latest order, the Supreme Court made it clear that it could not be displayed in theaters until the changes in the film were made until the film was proposed. What is the matter? The film ‘Udaipur Files’ is allegedly based on a startling and common stress -greater developments in Udaipur. The trailer and plot of the film objected by several requesters, claiming that the film could promote social disharmony. As a result, petitions against the film were filed in court. At the trial of the central government, the central government proposed six important changes to the filmmakers, including the removal of single dialogues, cutting sensitive scenes, changing the names of some characters and neutralizing the references. The Supreme Court took these proposals seriously and ordered them to be implemented compulsory in the film. By the next trial, the situation made it clear that the film could not be released before the next trial. During this time, if the manufacturers make the prescribed changes and submit their testimony to the court, only a decision will be made. The producer’s plea was said by the filmmaker that he had received approval from the censorship board and that his purpose was not to target a specific community but to offer a fact based on a true incident. However, the court gave the most important priority to social harmony and public peace, even after listening to this argument. Share this story -tags
