Surabaya City DPRD Consultation to Bappenas on Alternative Financing
Jakarta – Surabaya City DPRD consulted with the Ministry of National Development Planning/ National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) in Jakarta last week. The consultation is related to alternative financing plans through regional loans for infrastructure development. From the results of the consultation, Deputy Chairman of Surabaya Dprd Arif Fathoni revealed that Surabaya is considered the requirements to accept alternative financing options. “Based on documents received by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and Bappenas, as well as the existing feasibility study, Surabaya is very eligible to take alternative financing,” Arif Fathoni said in a written statement on Monday (9/22/2025).
