Ayushman scheme is implemented in Delhi from Thursday, a list of 2.6 Lakh people who are ready in the first phase: Minister

New -Delhi, April 9 (IANS). Dr. Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh announced that the Ayushman scheme in the capital will be started from Thursday. This scheme is a great gift for those who have been deprived of a long time of health facilities. In the first phase in the first phase, Dr. Singh made a list of about 2 Lakh 60 thousand people with Anyodaya Yojana and other suitability. From this, Ayushman cards will be distributed to about 2.34 Lakh people within the first 40 to 42 days. This is followed by the second phase. He directed the previous government of Arvind Kejriwal, saying: “It was a very important scheme for the people of Delhi, stopped by the previous government. We are now starting it so that this benefit can reach every needy.” The purpose of the Delhi government is that cards will be given to 400 to 500 beneficiaries on the first day of the launch of the scheme. In addition, special counter and website for registration will be started. People will be informed about the status of registration and further processes through messages on cellphone so they don’t have to wander much. The Minister of Health has also made it clear that maps will only be distributed after all documents have been investigated to maintain transparency in the scheme. He said: “We want this scheme to achieve only those who are truly entitled. Any disorders or fraud will not be tolerated.” Dr Pankaj Singh expressed the confidence that every eligible citizen of Delhi will get the benefit of Ayushman Yojana in the coming time, and it will be a great relief to the people of Delhi.
