Kemenbud displays Rog Ponorogo at the Indonesian birthday carnival, symbol of fighting spirit
Jakarta – The 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia participated in the Ministry of Culture in the Independence Carnival. In this parade, the Ministry of Rego of Rog Ponorogo presented, one of the cultural heritage of Indonesian rich in symbolism. The Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, together with the ranks, artists and famous artists also attended the vehicle on Sunday (17/8). The Ministry of Culture has the theme of Rego: Culture for Future, which tells the abbreviation of RoG Ponorogo, and offers an ornamental vehicle with a peacock and expression ganong figure. Both of these icons are an important part of Rog Ponorogo. Vehicles are decorated with the literature of the archipelago, a symbol of cultural diversity that strengthens the national unity, combined with green ornaments and natural elements. Traditional and modern ReoG music accompanied the journey of the vehicle and delivered a message of culture for the future. Decorative vehicles that read “Not Sound Horror” are alive with the presence of well -known artists and artists, including Reza Rahardian, Christine Hakim, Happy Salma, Ali Fikri, Yulia Evina Bhara, Lukman Sardi, Sal Priadi, Aulia Sarah, Hanung Bramantyo and Melly Goeslaw. The Independence Carnival held at night of independence involves all ministries/institutions, TNI-Polri, and Bumn/and between.
