Rajasthan: CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said, the safety of the citizens is the highest priority of our government

Rajasthan’s chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Saturday claimed that the security of the citizens of the state is the top priority of the Rajasthan government in the light of the situation that arises between India and Pakistan. He said that the government was carefully monitoring developments and making all necessary decisions to ensure preparations. He underlined the importance of cooperation with all political parties during this period. He called on unity and mutual harmony among all parties and urged them to work closely with the government in the widespread interest of the state. He assured that we were fully prepared to face any situation. The chief minister said immediate steps are being taken to fill all vacant posts to meet the needs of manpower in the border districts. He announced that a revolving fund has been allocated for emergency needs for Barmer, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Sriganganagar, Jodhpur, Hanumangarh and Phalodi, including transport, camps, medicine and equipment and supply food to the people involved. He said that Rajasthan Armed Constable (RAC), disaster aid power and additional civil safety staff were deployed in the border areas. The minister responsible for these districts and secretary holds close coordination with the local administration and actively addresses any incident. Sharma said eclipse protocols and traffic restrictions are implemented in the border districts according to guidelines for security agencies, promoting the cooperation of the citizens. The government has issued instructions against the use of bright light, brilliant and fireworks in weddings and public events. Strict restrictions were imposed on the fly of private drones. He instructed the district administration to strengthen the siren system and make people aware of different siren signals through television, radio and social media platforms. The main minister said that special vigilance is taken in public places such as market, tourist spots, bus stalls and railway stations. Safety has also been increased on major infrastructure such as religious places, dams, electricity stations and refineries.
