Three Chinese golden monkeys welcome to the Belgian Paradise Zoo

Beijing, May 15 (IANS). Three golden monkeys from China’s Chhunling Mountains arrived at the Belgian capital Brussels through the cargo plane of Sachwan Airlines. After completing inspection and quarantine, these three golden monkeys were taken to the Paradise Zoo in Belgium from where they began their new life in Europe. It is a new and important step in the cooperation of Belgium China over the preservation of wildlife. The arrival of these three golden monkeys at the gate of the Paradise Zoo attracted a large number of local tourists. These three golden monkeys have one male and two females. Belgium’s Paradise Zoo specially created a new Monkey House and Monkey Mountain for them. These three golden monkeys will make their official debut after completing the quarantine and adjustment periods. The Paradise Zoo in the Walonia region in Belgium is an important platform for the cooperation of the wildlife between Belgium and China. In 2014, this zoo became the only zoo with Panda in Belgium, which has now welcomed the golden monkeys of the Chhinling Mountain in China.
