Serang – Banten -Governor Andra Soni attended the simultaneous harvest in 14 provinces with President Prabowo Subianto. Even Bulog not only receives the recording of farmers’ grain, but will also pick up the ball,” he said. Andra Soni also asked farmers and Gapoktan to transfer to the government or members of the council in each election district (DAPIL) if there were parties who bought grain below the price of RP6,500 per kilogram. “Please transfer whether the conditions in the field are different. Say we can maximize the supervision and coaching function,” he said. The provincial government of Banten is committed to increasing the yield of the production of farmers. There will be extra help from agriculture equipment and machinery, as well as improving access to the roads to agricultural centers. “Our crop area in 2024 reached 299,000 hectares with a production of approximately 1.5 million tonnes of rice. With the addition of Alsintan and mechanization, in 2025 it was predicted to double up to 530,000 hectares of 2.8 million tonnes,” he said.
