A study warns of exercise in late evening hours – ryan

A recent study conducted by researchers from the Australian University of Monash showed exciting results on the relationship between exercising in late evening hours and sleep quality.

After monitoring 14,689 participants for a full year, the research team has been monitored for a full year using advanced devices to measure physical activity and sleep, that extensive exercises four hours or less may lead to noticeable sleep disturbances.

The data revealed that the participants who practiced extensive exercises such as high -density intermittent training (HIIT) or running long distances in the evening have suffered from difficulties in eternity to sleep.

“Intensive exercises raise the basic body temperature and increase the secretion of stress hormones such as cortisol,” said Dr. Josh Lita, one of the main researchers in the study.

It is worth noting that the study does not warn of all kinds of evening physical activity, as researchers indicate that light to moderate exercises such as walking, yoga or quiet swimming may not have the same negative effect, but can help some people relax. The main difference lies in the severity of the exercise and its effect on the heart rate and body temperature.
