Debuting with a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, Movief’s Own Julian Roman says in his review that Sensors “Brilliantly Illustrates Black Life in the violent and poverty-stricken Jim Crow-Segregated South while Portraying a Vibrant Cultural Landscape Brimming With Musical Fellowship. their chairs. ” Eric Goldman from IGN Movies Adds:

Thankfully, they decided to release Sensors theatrically rather than send it straight to streaming on max, a move which was definitely the right call according to Jonathan sim from comingsoon.net:

“Coogler’s Keen Eye for Social Commentary and Ability to Craft a Must-See Theatrical Experience Allows Sinners to Be Far Better Than Your Average Horror Fare.”

“Coogler Assures Viewers they are in the hands of a filmmaker Guide Them through both simple and complex ideas,” said Fred Topel from United Press International in His Review. Peter Gray from the Au Review Also Called Sensors “A gory, horny, relevant reflection on black culture and artistry.” Finally, there’s chalice Williams from Black Girl nerds, who adds that Sensors is a welcome relief from all the never ending sequels and remakes coming out of Hollywood:

Needless to say, it appears as if Coogler has yet another hit on his hands with Sensors If early box office projections, to be correct. Surprisingly, very few of the reviews mention the performance of Michael B. Jordan, so it will be interesting to see what audiences thinks when the movie hits theaters on April 18 from Warner Bros. Pictures.
