Battle of Chausa (1539) In this war, Afghan commander Sher Shah Suri gave an appropriate answer to the Mughal -Equeer Humayun. Humayun had to flee and Sher Shah Suri established the Suri Empire. 2. Battle of Kannaauj (1540) On May 17, 1540, Humayun again fought in Kannauj to take revenge on Sher Shah Suri, but the emperor was defeated again. It was a big shock to the mughals. 3. Mughal-Safavid War (1622–1623) To conquer Kandahar in Afghanistan, the army of Emperor Yahangir suffered a defeat in a war with Shah Abbas, ruler of the Irani Safavida empire. 4.
