More than 170 theatrical works – ryan

Today, Tuesday, the able artist Samiha Ayoub, at the age of 93, has passed away after a busy artistic career that lasted for several decades, leaving an indelible imprint in the art world, where she was known for her deep and influential roles in theater and cinema, and during her career she presented strong and inspiring women’s models.

The great actress Samiha Ayoub presented nearly 260 artworks, including about 170 theatrical works, and was among the most prominent of these works: “Rabaa Al -Adawiya”, “The Railway of Safety”, “Blood on the Star of the Kaaba”, “Aga Memnon”, and “Caucasian Class Circle”, which are the plays that made it from the pillars of the Arab theater, and she deserved the merit of the title “Lady of the Arab Theater”.

Although the theater was the most prominent in her artistic career, Samiha Ayoub left a clear imprint in the world of cinema and television, through distinguished posts in a number of prominent films, such as: “The Land of Hypocrisy”, “The Dawn of Islam”, “With Happiness”, and “Between the ruins”.

The late sparkled in TV drama through works that met with great success, the most prominent of which are: “The Stray Light”, “Awan Al -Ward”, “Amira in Abdin”, and “Al -Masrawy”, “Tear of Pain”, “Al -Mahrousa 85”, “Mothers in the House of Love”, “The Crescent Biography”. She also went through two experiences in the field of theatrical directing, as she directed the “Attiyat Dumps” and “Night of Hanna”.

Samiha Ayoub was honored with a number of decorations and certificates, the most prominent of which was the “Order of Merit”, which was granted by the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1966, in addition to a certificate of appreciation from President Anwar Sadat in 1979, and French President Valerie Giscar Diskar gave her the Order of Merit in 1977, and “The Order of Merit of the First Class” from the late Syrian President Hafez al -Assad in 1983. Last April, while participating in the “Police Day” celebration, President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi honored her, and gave her a greeting on stage.

The late artist had issued her memoirs for the first time in 2003, in a book entitled “My Memories”, in which she revealed many important stations in her personal and artistic life, documenting her long journey full of giving.

On the administrative level, Samiha Ayoub held a number of leadership positions in the theatrical field, where she held the position of director of the “Modern Theater” between 1972 and 1975, and then took over the “National Theater” administration for two consecutive periods that extended from 1975 to 1989.

The funeral date of Samiha Ayoub

Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the captain of the acting professions, announced the date and place of the funeral prayer for the great artist Samiha Ayoub.

Zaki said, in a statement to “Al -Masry Al -Youm”, that all the necessary measures are being taken and that the performance of the funeral prayer, and the funeral of the late artist Samiha Ayoub, will be his date today after the afternoon prayer, from the police mosque in the Sheikh Zayed area.
