Odisha News: Women Special Gifts on Rakshabandhan, third installment of the Subhadra Scheme will continue -Odisha government Subhadra Yojana 3rd Delivery on Raksha Bandhan

Jagran correspondent, Bhubaneswar. On the pleasant occasion of Rakshabandhan, the Odisha government will release the third installment of its ambitious ‘Subhadra Yojana’ today. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will distribute this amount of a special program arranged at Bankabija, Jaipur. In the program, the students of Parabeda Saraswati Vidya Mandir will welcome the Chief Minister by tying a Rakhi. On this occasion, more than 2000 women from the district are added under the scheme. More than 30 platoon policemen have been deployed for safety arrangements. According to the government’s data, Rs 5,000 crore today will be sent to the bank accounts of approximately 1 crore women by direct advantage transfer (DBT). Under the scheme, each eligible woman gets Rs 10,000 per year in two equal installments (Rs 5,000 per installment), so they can move to self -activity and economic empowerment. So far, 10,65.877 women have received the first installment and 98.82.092 women have received the second installment amount. Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida said that the review process of the Subhadra scheme began from July 22. This includes more than 22,000 Anganwadi workers, PRI members, women’s self-help groups and higher education students. They will judge via a special mobile app how the beneficiaries used the first two installments. This process will be completed within about a month.
