With basketball deaths in mind, Stephen Curry looks at the near future after another title
San Francisco (AP) – Stephen Curry left the season before making Chase Center for a handshake and long embrace with Draymond Green. These two long -standing teammates are committed to running another championship, and now with Jimmy Butler on their side, knowing that there may not be too many opportunities left. Curry expressed sadness about how Golden State’s season ended, while he couldn’t help on the bench due to a hamstring injury. The Warriors were eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night in a loss of 121-110 Game 5 in the Western Conference-Golden State semi-finals’ fourth straight game without curry due to a tense left hamstring since being injured last week in the second quarter of Game 1. At 37 and with 16 NBA seasons in his name, Curry realizes that NBA titles and the after -season beds are no longer guaranteed, and that there can only be a handful of chances for him, Butler, Green and Steve Kerr as coach. “All we wanted was a chance, and to finish the year like us, to sneak in the playoffs and win that first round, there is a lot to be on sure, when we consider where we were,” Curry said. “But definitely disappointed, and honestly just sad that I couldn’t play there. Hopefully we have tried a bright future in terms of next year back and forth. ‘ Where the Warriors searched for answers only three months ago – until general manager Mike Dunleavy pulled up on the Miami Butler deadline in a move that Andrew Wiggins sent to the heat. Butler led on both sides of the floor, even more during the recent absence of Curry. “I am completely satisfied with who I am as a basketball player, as I play the game,” he said. “And to come here and know that I’m second to Steph, I think it’s a very good thing, if you talk about one of the biggest players ever playing this game.” Golden State has liquidated 29-15 since Butler’s first match on February 8 on Chicago, 23-8 in the usual season, a win against Memphis and 5-7 by two play-off series. Butler blended beautifully into the system, and he is not convinced that this core group has a two-year window to win it all. “Yes, and if we win some, it can be longer than that, because I still think we have very good basketball in front of us,” he said. “I don’t think this age is something like everyone takes care of their bodies and do right. I think the potential is there. ‘ Everyone is eager to have a training camp together, even with changes expected during the summer and free agency period. The future of forward Jonathan Kuminga is one of the biggest urgent questions about the off -season, as he is expected to become a limited free agent in July. “I haven’t thought anything about it yet,” said Kuminga, the team’s seventh overall concept in 2021. For now, Curry plans to take a basketball break and focus on the family. He was on average 24.5 points, 6.0 assists and 4.4 rebounds that played 32 plus minutes per game. If people call the old guy these days, he’s going well. “One, it’s an ultimate compliment because it’s part of the level you play. Like, “Ah, he still does it at this age,” Curry said. “Two, it’s a reminder of your basketball deaths and appreciation for every moment you have. Therefore, the way it ends, as it was, was not able to play in the big games, because you do not know how many more opportunities you will have. ‘ But I think the difference up and out of court, like seeing my family and seeing my children grow and allow the court, it knows that the next chapter is, and it appreciates this chapter of my life as much as possible, and it is the chapter and appreciates this chapter of my life as much as my life has as a good life. Lovely, but this one I try to get every fun and experience and push so much juice out of it. ”___
