MUI invites residents to stop anarchist demonstrations and damage

Jakarta – The Indonesian Ulema Council (Mui) invites the public to prevent anarchist protests from causing damage and riots to the public. Mui called on the protesters to return to their respective homes immediately. “Demo is the right of the citizens, but if it has caused damage, unrest and problems to the public, I think it should be stopped, we are also called on the protesters to return to their homes and not cause problems for other communities,” said chairman of the information and communication of the Mui Leadership Council Masduki Baidlowi, as quoted from Antara, Friday (29/8/2025). According to him, the demonstration that caused riots will also affect the daily activities of the community, especially for the lower middle class that needs to make another existence.
