Jordan intends to reach two million digital identity users by the end of this year, representing about 40% of the number of citizens who are eligible to obtain it, according to Ahmed Al -Hanandeh, the Minister of Digital Economics and Jordan’s Leadership. In an interview with Al -Sharq, the minister added on the sidelines of his participation in the World Government Summit, that about 50% of the government services were digital, and that 80% of payments for the government sector are currently digital, and indicated that the target is the services of the government sector by the end of 2025, so that all services are on one platform to secure the procedures.
