Sangrur: Minister Lal Chand Katruchak visited Kia Mandi, made arrangements

Sangrur, April 8 (IANS). The government procurement process began in the Mandis of Punjab. The state government seems to be careful about purchasing crops. The farmers are not in full care, and there are no problems. Meanwhile, Punjab Minister Lal Chand Katruchak reached the Sangrur district on Tuesday and revised the purchase system in the Mandis there. Minister Lal Chand Katruchak addressed a press conference after reviewing the market’s arrangements, that the Punjab government began the crop purchase process with complete preparation. We have made proper arrangements and farmers may not have any problems. Every need for farmers will be taken care of so that they have no problem selling their products. Lal Chand Katruchak also made it clear that the government has strengthened the payment process of farmers. He said that we assured that within 24 hours of the sale of the crop, we had to be paid to the accounts of the farmers. He further said that the government also addresses the upliftment of crop and other facilities provided to the farmers.
