Pink bus service for women started in Bihar today. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reported 20 buses from a route. From today, buses in the state for Patna, 8 for Patna, 4 for Muzaffarpur, 2 for Darbhanga, 2 for Purnia, 2 for Bhagalpur and 2 for 6 cities for Gaya. At present, the male driver will run this bus due to a lack of female drivers. At present, female conductors will be present in all buses. This bus service will be available in all urban areas. Only women can drive with it. This pink is equipped with all facilities from CCTV to GPS and alarm. The purpose of Pink Bus Service is to be safe, cheap and accessible. Today, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has mowed off these buses from his official residence 1n Marg. In addition, there are plans to start pink bus service between the district with 166 extra buses. What routes will these buses run? New buses in Patna will initially run on four routes. This includes from Gandhi Maidan from Phulari Sharif to Aiims-Patna, Danapur and Kurji (via Boring Road) and Nit fashion to Kankarbagh Autorickshaw stand. According to officials, the minimum rate for one -sided travel is Rs 6 and a maximum of Rs 35. Various payments such as prepaid cards, monthly and students pass are available. As far as women’s bus drivers are concerned, the official said they would also train women drivers. Transport Minister Sheela Kumari said the pink bus service would be an important step towards social empowerment. He said it would increase the trust of women. Pink bus service will also be expanded in other cities in the future. 80 and pink buses are already in the pipeline.
