South Korea's army fired bullets on North Korean soldiers
Sol, April 8 (IANS). The South Korean army said on Tuesday that it fired at some North Korean soldiers as a warning when they crossed the Military Division Line (MDL) and entered the area of South Korea for a while. According to the staff (JCS) of the joint heads of South Korea, about 10 North Koreans returned to the north after hearing the South Korean army warnings and firing of bullets. The incident happened on the eastern front. The JCS said that the South Korean army carefully monitor the activities of the North Korean army and, according to the operational processes, takes the necessary steps. The JCS said it was likely that the North Korean soldiers should have accidentally crossed the border while they were on their usual patrol. “It seems that he was on an intelligence mission for some preparation work, and accidentally crossed the military distribution region for some preparation work.” The incident happened just a few days after the South Korea’s Constitutional Court removed the former South Korean President Union Suk Yol. The region crossed the North Korean soldiers, near Gansong County, South Korea. Earlier this week, the South Korean army said that about 1,500 North Korean soldiers were practicing near the border, in which they worked to install prickly wires. DMZ (demilitized zone) is one of the most security areas in the world, where both sides have a thorny wire envelope and a heavy military appearance. MDL divides this zone horizontally, which serves as a buffer area between the two Koreas since the Korean War of 1950–53, but under the Armistice, under the Armistice, there was no peace treaty. The incident of the transition from the border occurred when the tensions between the two Korean countries were at a high level, as North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un described the relationship between the two countries as ‘two enemy countries’. The South Korean army last fired a warning bullets in October when North Korea bladed the streets of Gyongui and Donghe, once regarded as a symbol of collaboration between the two countries. -Ians PSM/CBT
