UP News: Neglect power accident will be responsible for executive engineers - UP Power Corp issues strict prescriptions to prevent electrical accidents
State Bureau, Jagran, Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation has issued clear guidelines to the authorities to prevent power accidents. If negligence is not used by security equipment, or an accident occurs due to a lack of training, the engineer, assistant, engineer and executive engineer will be held responsible. They will take action. Agencies that deliver contract workers have also been instructed to train their staff to work with safety equipment. Power Corporation President Dr Ashish Kumar Goyal issued detailed guidelines on Thursday to prevent power accidents. These instructions were sent from managing directors of electricity distribution companies to executive engineers. The chairman said the staff should be allowed to work only after wearing security equipment while working on the 33/11 KV center centers maintenance. No one will be allowed to work without safety equipment. The chairman also ordered that the information should be recorded in the register at the sub -center before going to gang work. It must be confirmed that the gang has all security equipment. The maintenance of the line will not be taken from unskilled workers. The main engineer and superintendent engineer must ensure that the guidelines on the distribution of safety equipment fulfill. Last year, there were 1123 deaths in electricity accidents. All the Discoms provided 11 security equipment, including electrical safety helmets, gloves, electrical safety shoes and other equipment.
