Wipro Q4 PAT 26 PC to £ 3,569.6 CR; Expected up to 3.5 pc drop in IT services -income for Q1 FY26
New Delhi, April 16 (PTI), India’s fourth largest IT company Wipro Wednesday reported a 25.9 percent increase in the consolidated net profit to £ 3,569.6 crore during the March quarter. There is a profit (attributed to shareholders of the company) of £ 2,834.6 crore in the previous year. Fourth quarter revenue (Q4) of FY25 was £ 22.504.2 Crore, a marginal increase of 1.33 percent of £ 22.208.3 in the fourth quarter FY24. Succession, profit and turnover increased by 6.43 percent and 0.83 percent respectively. For the full FY25, the profits had an increase of 18.9 percent to £ 13,135.4 crore, according to a regulatory filing. Revenue for the full financial year fell 0.74 percent to reach £ 89,088.4 crore. For the Q1 FY26, the Bengaluru headquarters see revenue from its IT services business in the range of $ 2.505 million to $ 2.557, a $ 1.5-3.5 percent drop in constant currency on a consecutive basis. “Since clients remain careful in light of macro -economic uncertainty, we are focused on working closely with them while we remain dedicated to consistent and profitable growth,” said the CEO of Wipro and managing director Srini Pallia. The company has closed FY25 with two mega transactions, an increase in major agreement and growth in top accounts, he said. “Customer satisfaction statements have improved, reflecting strong execution and involvement,” he added. Wipro has also continued to invest in global talent and in strengthening consultation and AI capabilities. Wipro’s employee score closed at 2,33,346, compared to 2,32,614 in the same period of the previous year. Shares of Wipro on Wednesday raised 1.4 percent higher at £ 247.50 per piece on the BSE.
