President Murmu's historic Slovakia visit, the relationship between the two countries is expected to deepen
Bratislawa, April 9 (IANS). President Draupadi Murmu met with Slovakia in Bratislawa, President Peter Palegini on Wednesday. The two leaders have reviewed various aspects of India-Slovakia relations and agreed to work to strengthen bilateral partnership in different areas. During the meeting and deletion level, President Murmu and Palegini also discussed issues of shared world and regional interests. The deletion level speaks on behalf of the Indian side, the Minister of State Nimuben Bambhania, as well as the MP Dhawal Patel, Sandhya Ray and senior officials. The president appreciated the personal dedication and initiative of President Palegini for strengthening bilateral relations. Two mouss were exchanged in the presence of the two leaders. Earlier, President Murmu was welcomed by President Palegini in the presidential palace. He was formally welcomed with the guard of honor. A couple wearing folk clothes welcome them in a traditional Slovak manner with bread and salt. President Murmu addressed the joint press conference and expressed his happiness on the visit of Slovakia. He said that the relationship between the two countries is based on mutual faith, democratic ideals and shared views of global cooperation. The two countries support each other on different international forums. President Murmu said that business relations between the two countries are constantly increasing on the economic front. Over the past few years, there has been a significant increase in trade and investment. This is an Indian president’s first visit to Slovakia in about three decades. President Daupadi Murmu’s two -day visit to Slovakia indicates how many India is interested in the bilateral relations with the Republic of Slovakian.
