Ranchi, September 19 (IANS). Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the inauguration ceremony of the ‘East Tech Symposium-2025’ (Defense Expo) program on Friday at the Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, Khelgaon, Ranchi campus. On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said in his speech that today is an important day for the state. The ‘East Tech Symposium-2025’ is organized by the Union Ministry of Defense on the Feather Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium Campus Khelgaon in the capital Ranchi. The event is a specific program in itself, in which initiative is taken to add several new defense dimensions. The Chief Minister said that we will certainly be successful in fulfilling the purpose of this event. He said that Jharkhand gave a lot to the country, there are also strong possibilities for the expansion of the operating sector in this state. He said our government is committed to fully working with the center to make the defense sector self -sufficient. Hemant Soren said Jharkhand is a state of possibilities. Raw materials used in the defense sector are found in abundance here. Here is also the availability of sufficient amount of uranium. He said that many large operating institutions were established in Jharkhand. In the expansion of the industry, this state has a clear identity in the country. Many small and large industries raised here. The chief minister said that some times some things were apparently finished because of wrong policy. We all know that industries are established like HEC in Ranchi. With the cooperation of this institute, many other industrial institutions in the country have moved forward. He said that HEC also played an important role in making satellite and core components. The chief minister said that HEC’s situation is not very good today; There are many problems to know why such a large industry institute cannot meet as expected today. The chief minister said there is a need to perform his role in promoting operating institutions with mutual coordination, so that the state and the country in the field of industry can move forward to self -sufficiency. He said that by trying together, new dimensions to the defensive industry sector could be added. Chief Minister Hemant Soren said it is fortunate that the head of the Indian army is present among us today. The effort that made him in the field of MSME is also a positive initiative. He said that the state government would provide full support to the defense sector.
