Milk area promoted in Tripura, 40 TLPD milk processing plant inauguration

Union -fisheries, animal husbandry and dairy minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh gave Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Saturday and the Minister of Public Servants SP has the milk processing plant with a capacity of 40 thousand liters (TLPD) capacity of Gomti Cooperative Milk Producer Association in Bamutia in the Western Tripura -Distrik Singh Baghel inaugurated. This new function is expected to increase a significant increase in the dairy infrastructure of Tripura, reducing the dependence on milk imports from other states and strengthening the rural economy. Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh told reporters after the inauguration that the central government sees tremendous possibilities of self-sufficiency in dairy and fisheries in Tripura. The government believes that Tripura has resources and capacity. He assured the chief minister of all possible help. He announced that a high -level delegation from the Ministry of Four Farm, Dairy and Fisheries in June would visit Tripura. The tour is aimed at preparing the Road Map for Confidence Commission based on the availability of the main minister. Ratan Ghosh, president of the Gomti Cooperative Milk Producer Association Limited, said during the event that led by Premier Narendra Modi has been unprecedented development in the northeastern region since 2014. The central government contributed Rs 19 crore and the state government contributed Rs 2 crore to the construction of this GomTi unit-2 plant in Bamutia. The plant, built with a total of Rs 24 crore, has a capacity of 40,000 liters per day, with 30,000 liters of milk and 10,000 liters of yogurt, cheese, ice and lassi. It is the largest dairy plant in the northeast. Ratan Ghosh said that about 5,000 farmers with 178 milk cooperative associations in Tripura are linked to this cooperative sector. This plant will benefit local farmers. On the initiative of the main minister, an award of Rs 5,000 is provided to the Gopalas and loans are provided to buy cows through dairy development officials. This has increased milk production. Earlier, Gomti had three milk distribution centers, which have now increased to 12. The number of ‘tum-in’ vehicles has also increased from three to three, thereby delivering milk from house to house. Milk is provided to GB Hospital, IGM Hospital, BSF, Army and CRPF from Gomti Cooperative. The cooperative makes three types of milk, two types of cheese, 13 types of ice and 73 types of sweets. In particular, Ghee is produced from pure milk of pure cow, the quality of which is tested in its own laboratory. It is ensured that high quality milk is available.
