Jyoti Malhotra, the Hisar -based Youtuber who was arrested for allegedly being spied for Pakistan, regularly visited the Islamic nation and attended an iFTAR party meeting at Pakistan High Commission -revealed her Instagram posts. Malhotra, who runs a YouTube channel named Travel with Jo, was also seen what Pakistan applauded and Lahore called the ‘Culture Heart of Pakistan’ in one of her social media posts. In one of the tracks, the 33-year-old is met with Pakistan High Commission, Ehsan-Ur-Rahim, also known as Danish. Rahim was reportedly declared persona non grata and was ordered to leave India within 24 hours because he allegedly leaked to spying and sensitive information about the Indian army movements. Malhotra is also seen dealing with Rahim’s wife, and her familiarity with the couple suggests that they have met on several occasions and shared an established relationship. The video, posted on March 30 last year, starts with Malhotra and says she was invited to the Iphtar party and then entered the high commission and described the decoration as ‘excellent’. She greets Rahim warmly, inquires about his well -being and expresses her pleasure in seeing him. A man – whose face is not visible, but that he believes is Rahim – introduces her to other officials and mentions that she runs the YouTube channel journey with Jo. Jyoti Malhotra’s intimate relationship The Haryana-based Vlogger was in an intimate relationship with a Pakistani intelligence operator and even traveled to Bali with him. Investigators report that Jyoti has retained communication with Pakistani intelligence operatives via encrypted messages -Apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and Snapchat. To hide their identity, she stored their contact details among aliases – with one of her handlers, Shakir, saved as ‘Jatt Randhawa’, reports Times of India. Jyoti Malhotra’s ties with Pakistan According to police resources, Jyoti first came into contact with a Pakistani official named Ehsan-Ur-Rahim, also known as Danish, during a visit to the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi in 2023. He said his daughter had visited Delhi and had been in Hisar for the past four to five days. “She had previously visited Pakistan and other places to shoot videos for YouTube,” Haris Malhotra told Ani. He said she went to Pakistan after receiving the necessary consents. “If she has friends there she can’t call them? I have no claims, but give us our phones. A case is registered against us,” he said.
