'Avoid all unnecessary movements': India Ambassade calls on citizens in Iran to 'stay alert' to Israel's strikes | Today news
Israel performed in Iran’s capital on Iran early on Friday, with the aim of striving for its core facilities and raising concerns about a possible full -scale conflict between the two long -standing local enemies. In response, the Indian embassy in Iran has issued an advice requesting the Indian citizens to remain vigilant and limit their movements in the midst of rising tensions. “In light of the current situation in Iran, all Indian citizens and persons of Indian origin are requested in Iran to remain vigilant, avoid all unnecessary movements, follow social media accounts of the embassy and note safety protocols as advised by the local authorities,” the advice states. The assault came in the midst of Israel warnings that it would not be that Tehran would build a nuclear weapon, although it is unclear how close the country is to achieve it. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Israel did “unilateral action against Iran” and that Israel advised the US to believe that the strikes are needed for its self -defense. “We are not involved in strikes against Iran, and our top priority is to protect US forces in the region,” Rubio said in a statement released by the White House who warned Iran to target US interests or staff. Israeli defense minister Israel Katz said his country had carried out the attack without saying what he targeted. “In the wake of the state of Israel’s preventive attack on Iran, missile and drone attacks against Israel and his civilian population are expected,” he said in a statement. Earlier, US President Donald Trump said he advised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to delay any military action while diplomatic efforts with Iran were underway. “As long as I believe there is a chance for a deal, I don’t want them to come in because I think it will derail the talks,” Trump told reporters.
