Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said yoga is a unique gift from Indian Manisha. India paved the way for world welfare by making yoga a medium of public welfare. This is why not only India, but about 190 countries of the world, on the 11th International Yoga Day is proud by joining the legacy of Indian yoga. Yogi addressed yoga day yoga practitioners and pupils on Saturday morning before doing yoga at Gorakhnath Temple. The Chief Minister congratulated the people of International Yoga Day. During the program organized at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Auditorium, he said that yoga is a mantra of India’s saga tradition that offers a healthy brain with a healthy body. The chief minister said that different dimensions of yoga are seen today. Indian Manisha informed the world about the high dimension of yoga consciousness. Of personality development to reveal the mysteries of the universe, the rich knowledge of yoga in the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Smriti and Shastras was presented as a legacy. Yogi said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is credited by moving the ancient Indian tradition of yoga forward in the modern era. In such a situation, when outsiders were deprived of yoga asanas and India of the heritage, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the United Nations initiative to acknowledge yoga global. The Chief Minister also saw and heard the direct speech of Premier Narendra Modi during the program organized at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Auditorium of the Gorakhnath Temple. He then practiced various rugs, pranayama, meditation with yoga practitioners and pupils in the auditorium.
