Mumbai, April 11 (IANS). SHIV SENA (UBT) spokesman and MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday made a big claim about Tawwur Hussain Rana, the most important accused in the terror attack in Mumbai. He said the government would hang Rana during the upcoming election in the Bihar meeting. Sanjay Raut said Rana should be hung immediately, but the government will hang him during the Bihar election. He said: “A 16 -year -old long struggle brought Rana to India and it started during the congress rule. No one should take credit to bring Rana back. ‘ He said Rana is not the first accused to be extradited to India. Abu Salem, an accused in the serial explosions in 1993 in the past, was also extradited to India. Raut gave this reaction to 64 -year -old Canadian citizen of Pakistani origin and Rana was brought to Delhi, one of the most important accused in the 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai. Rana was brought by a special plane under the supervision of a joint team of Indian intelligence and investigators. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said in a statement that the devastation of 2008 years led to extradition to bring the alleged chief conspirators to the dock for years and after successive attempts. The statement reads: “With the active help of USDOJ, US Sky Marshal, the NIA has worked closely with other Indian intelligence agencies, NSG during the entire extradition process, in which India’s Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Home Affairs coordinated the matter with other concerned officials to lead the case successfully.” Raut also demanded that Kulbhushan Jadhav be brought back, which was caught in 2016 and sentenced to death by the Pakistani military court for alleged spying. India rejected the allegations of Pakistan as compiled. Meanwhile, BJP -LP Ashok Chavan said that the extradition of Tawwur Rana, who is accused in the terror attack in Mumbai, is a big victory for India. He said that the bitter memories of attacks on 26/11 are still fresh in the minds of Indians, especially Mumbai. He said it was a terror attack from Pakistan. The interrogation of Tehwwur Rana can lead to more light on the conspiracy behind the Mumbai attack and some other terrorist activities. Therefore, Rana’s extradition is a great victory for India, not only of diplomatic, but also a legal point of view. He said the US Supreme Court also made a favorable ruling on Rana’s extradition request. Prime Minister Narendra Modi handled the matter well on diplomatic and legal front. Chavan also said that India was successful in bringing many gang members such as Abu Salem, Chhota Rajan and Ravi Pujari to India earlier. -Ians psk/acade
