He was granted bail on October 25, 2019 and was re -appointed as ADC in Dharamshala in 2024. Chargedeets were filed against him in terms of section 11 of the Corruption Act and section 201 of the IPC. Employee Komal Khanna was accused in terms of Article 12. Sources in ED, allegations of political patronage and forced recovery, say that serious allegations such as political patronage, forced recovery and bribes are also being investigated against Nishant Sarin. Many important files and documents associated with these allegations were handed over to Ed. Right now, this attack is just a sign; Ed prepares to reach the center of serious investigation into corruption.
