ACB arrested the PWD engineer red with Rs 3 lakh, hidden money under the skin

The ACB has arrested an engineer from the Public Works Department (PWD) to take bribes. Executive Engineer of Hindaun City (Karauli) was arrested with three lakh calls. The accused engineer Bhavani Singh Mena demanded a commission in exchange for the approval of the bill. The accused demands a commission from Messrs. Santosh Construction Company, Gangapur City, the accused complainant. In the financial year 2024-25, works worth Rs 43.19 Lakh were done by the department by taking a tender. A bribe of three Lakh calls is sought as a commission to pay the bill. Money was hidden under the sheet on the bed. As a result, the engineer today (May 23) called the complainant at his home to take bribes. He took the money and put it on a double bed in the bedroom of the house and laid a sheet about it. ACB was ready for fall after receiving the complaint. The team did this action led by the Deputy Inspector General of the Bharatpur Series Police Rajesh Singh. The investigation and action against the accused continues. The ACB will investigate the matter by registering a case under the Corruption Prevention Act. A complaint was received at the Karauli police station. Dr. Ravi Prakash Mehra, a director -general of the police, said: ‘ACB outpost Karauli received a complaint in this regard. The accused asked the complainant to make an account of Rs 10 Lakh out of Rs 43.19 Lakh for the screw work done by his firm and to pay the remaining amount to the company. Share these story marks.
