Chief Minister has launched water sports activities at Col Dam in Bilaspur
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated eight major development projects from New -Delhi to the Bilaspur district through virtual medium. These projects include the inauguration of water sports activities in Col Dam and a 110 kW solar plant built at a cost of Rs 70 Lakh in the Deputy Commissioner Office. The main minister inaugurated the City Livelihood Center at a cost of Rs 4.5 crore, four spaces laboratories built at a cost of Rs 40 lakh and the modeling career center built at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore. He said these projects reflect the commitment of the state government to the development of the Bilaspur district. He said that adventure tourism in the Gobind Sagar on the water base would give a big boost for the water -based adventure tourism. This initiative will not only help Bilaspur to register his presence on the tourism card, but will also create new jobs for local youth. The chief minister said that the state government gave the biggest priority to tourism, as it is the most revenue area. He said that a large part of the income of goods and services (GST) also comes from this area. He said: “The vision of his government is to make the state the tourism capital of India. The state government imagines a compact package to promote tourism, in which religious tourism, eco -tourism, water tourism, natural tourism, health tourism, etc. will be integrated to attract all kinds of tourists from India and abroad.” Share this story -tags
