A series of messages threatening students in British schools caused the authorities’ concern, after several schools received an email bearing threats indicating violence, and pushed messages with a number of schools and nurseries in London to close their doors.

A teenager was arrested after sending emails threatening to use a firearm “to harm” to schools in Sheffield and a nursery in London, and these messages were sent to 9 schools in Sheffield this morning, and it was reported that an armed man might be in preparation for harm to schools.

The St. Mary School in Wadsto received an email indicating “violence”, while the police said they did not consider these threats real.

South Yorkshire police revealed that a 17 -year -old boy was arrested on suspicion of malicious contacts, and he is still in detention, according to the authorities, who said in a statement: “Our investigation is still ongoing, and the neighborhood police patrols are taking place today at the sites mentioned in the email as an additional precautionary measure and to reassure the population.”
