On July 26, when his owner was out of the house, the accused bore the child in the bathroom himself. The official said the initial investigation revealed that the woman who went to her village to attend a wedding, made physical relationship with her lover and became pregnant. Due to ‘social stigma’, he killed the child. The officer said the accused informed his partner about his pregnancy, but he refused to take responsibility and killed the child due to ‘social stigma’. He said that the woman was married once in 2019 and that she was divorced in 2021.
