BJP's edge of Nishikant Dubey and Dinesh Sharma's statement, 'This is their personal statement'

New -Delhi, April 20 (IANS). The BJP selected the statement of BJP parliamentary Nishikant Dubey and the party’s Rajya Sabha parliamentary member Dinesh Sharma on the Supreme Court and the chief justice of the country. The two leaders question the role of the judiciary in the context of the continued trial of the Supreme Court over the WAQF Act. The Bharatiya Janata Party, which avoids these statements, mentioned it as a personal opinion of the leaders and issued instructions to avoid such comments. The BJP made a distance from the statements of these two leaders and made it clear that the party did not support it. BJP President JP Nadda wrote on the social media platform X, “BJP -LPs Nishikant Dubey and Dinesh Sharma have nothing to do with the Bharatiya Janata’s statement about the country’s judge and the chief justice of the country. JP Nadda further wrote, “The Bharatiya Janata party has always respected the judiciary, accepted their orders and proposals, because as a party we believe that all the courts of the country, including the Supreme Court, are an integral part of our democracy and are a strong foundation for the protection of the Constitution.” In fact, BJP parliamentary Nishikant Dubey created a political storm on Saturday by making a controversial statement in the context of the ongoing trial on the WAQF Act. He questioned the role of the judiciary and said that if the Supreme Court made the law, Parliament should be closed. The opposition responded sharply to this statement from the BJP -LP Nishikant Dubey. Jairam Ramesh, secretary of the congress, condemned the statement by Nishikant Dubey, saying: “The BJP is weakening the Supreme Court. The Constitution is trying to weaken the powers given to the Supreme Court. People, ministers and even BJP MPs speak against the Supreme Court.” Congress MP Manikam Tagore mentioned the statement by Nishikant Dubey about the Supreme Court and said his attack on the peak court was not acceptable. This is a derogatory statement against the Supreme Court. Nishikant Dubey is a person who constantly attacks all other institutions. Now he has attacked the Supreme Court. His attack on the Supreme Court is not acceptable. “Let me tell you, on April 16, the Supreme Court began trial on petitions that contested the constitutional validity of the new amended WAQF Act. Earlier this month, the Waqf Act was accepted from both houses of parliament. –ians AKS/CBT stock labels
