Prabowo will attend the United Nations Summit on solving two countries for Palestine
Jakarta President Prabowo Subianto will attend a high -level conference for peaceful settlement of Palestinian problems and the implementation of two solutions to the country in the UN headquarters in New York, United States. The permanent representative of the Republic of Indonesia (Pritri) in New York, Hari Prabowo, said that a session on Palestine in the General Assembly intends to encourage more countries to recognize the Palestinian state. “The purpose of the high -level conference on two state solutions is to encourage as many countries as possible to recognize the Palestinian state,” Hari Prabowo said at a press conference at the permanent mission of Indonesia in New York, Saturday (9/20). “The influence of Palestine in the process of peace negotiations will therefore increase,” he added. Hari explained that the summit chaired by France and Saudi Arabia was aimed at placing Palestine equal to Israel at international level, thus encouraging peace in the region and justice for the Palestinian people. He said the commitment of Indonesia to realize the solution of two countries is shown by his role as part of the core group that encouraged the recognition of the Palestinian state. “France and Saudi Arabia are the most important initiator, but there are core groups, and Indonesia is one of 19 members. The 19 countries have made different efforts to mobilize as many countries as possible that the Palestinian state wants to recognize,” he said.
