JNU Students -of -Training Crisis, ABVP has accused the election committee of prejudice

New -Delhi, April 19 (IANS). The controversy over Jawaharlal Nehru University (Junu) Student elections deepens. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held a press conference on Saturday and accused serious irregularities during the election process. ABVP says the Junelation Committee of Fairness has renounced and worked as ‘Team B’ from ‘Left United’. The last date for the nomination of the election was determined on April 15 and the last date for the withdrawal of names was set on April 16, but according to the ABVP, the election committee withdrew the name of the name of the name until April 17, and then until 16:30. Not only that, after the final list was released on the evening of April 17, the process of withdrawal of nominations without any preceding information was opened for 30 minutes, which is the first time in the history of the Junal election. The ABVP calls it a ‘murder of democracy and constitutional standards’. Rajeshwar Kant Dubey, president of ABVP Jnu unit, said: “Attempts are being made to benefit left -wing organizations by repeatedly violating the rules in the election process. It is a direct insult to the democratic rights of the students. We are strongly opposed to this conspiracy and will struggle to ensure every platform.” ABVP Junnu secretary and presidential candidate Shikha Swaraj said: “The Left Alliance only does pressure politics here, but now JNu wants change. We are busy with their problems and listen to their problems of students by fighting through to door to door, while the left is an atmosphere of fear, which is our duty to stop.” The ABVP claims that the election process is changed repeatedly due to the lack of alliance between the leftist organizations AISA and SFI. When these amendments were opposed, the election committee postponed the entire process. At the same time, Anagha, secretary of the Democratic Student Federation, demanded the administration to ensure the safety of the election committee. He said: “Even after 24 hours of yesterday’s incident, no notice was issued by the administration. Our colleagues are attacked and the allegations are also made to us that we have an environment.” The current president of the Student Union, Dhananjay, held a press conference guilty of ABVP of the distribution of violence in the election process. He said: “The election committee was attacked during the nomination process, which is responsible for ABVP supporters. It is clear in the photos that the attackers are associated with ABVP and that some outsiders were also. We demanded the UC to ensure security arrangements in writing.” Dhananjay said the election process was postponed due to false allegations made by ABVP and that the entire student community is now waiting for the new election date. -Ians DSC/CBT
