Details have emerged about a tragic incident with an Enugu single, Oluchukwu Odo, who allegedly killed her twin sister and her cousin on Wednesday morning. Oluchukwu, the daughter of the late Lawrence Odo of Umuidenyi, AJI, Enugu Ezike, Igbo Eze North local government area, allegedly repented after the law. Saharan Porters learned that her twin sister visited their parents’ home from her husband’s home, accompanied by her daughter, when the incident occurred. Family sources confirmed that the tragic event took place during this visit. “She attacked her sister and niece with a heavy object and immediately killed them,” a family member says. Oluchukwu attacked her mother and repeatedly stabbed her in the chest with a kitchen knife. Despite her injuries, the mother was able to flee to a nearby home and call out for help. “I was in my house when I heard the woman screaming and running to my door,” a neighbor said. “When I opened the door, I saw her covered with blood and begged for help.” The incident happened early Wednesday morning when residents of the community just woke up, according to a resident, Chigozie Mama, who spoke to Saharan Porters. The situation increased until a neighbor intervened, which asked for a quick response from the AJI neighborhood watch group. They chased Oluchukwu and arrested her in a neighboring village. While taken away, Oluchukwu reported repentance and said, “I don’t know what’s coming over me.” Her words were waged with regret and confusion as she struggled to achieve her actions. The suspect has since been handed to police at the headquarters, Ogrute, Enugu Ezike, for further investigation. “I don’t know what could have led her to do something like that,” a family member said and still trying to process the tragedy. “We are all in shock and grieving the loss of our loved ones.”
